Marketing Intern

As a Marketing Intern for the NC State Office of Research Commercialization, Alex works closely with the New Ventures marketing team to help provide business and marketing support to startups.  Alex is currently pursuing a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing at NC State University and as part of his degree he has completed several entrepreneurship courses.

In addition to his academic studies, Alex is a student-athlete and sprinter for NC State’s Track and Field team. Following graduation, Alex plans to continue gaining work experience while completing his MBA, with the hope of one day starting his own sports-related business.

Alex is passionate about sports and in his spare time, he enjoys playing a variety of sports and watching soccer.  Other interests include traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and playing with the family’s pet mini bernedoodle, Bentley.
