ORIED, in conjunction with RTI International, and Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science are pleased to announce four awards for the Game-Changing Research Incentive Program (GRIP). The initial requested for proposals announced in this spring yielded 59 pre-proposals. This seed-funding program was launched earlier this year to support visionary ideas to attract large-scale research funding to meet global challenges. The four funded proposals include projects to find innovative solutions for water sustainability, computer science education in grades K-12, 3D printing of engineered medical products, and genetic discovery and prediction.
