We promote animal welfare and foster compliance by facilitating the efforts of NC State\u2019s scientists and instructors who utilize the animal model in research, education and other scholarly pursuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAWS is comprised of the office of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)<\/a> and the University Attending Veterinarian<\/a>, both of which report to the Office of Research and Innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n
