Center for Applied Aquatic Ecology (CAAE)

The CAAE is state-certified to provide high-quality water chemistry analyses at cost for other NC State researchers and their students. This center also provides information to augment regulatory and non-regulatory programs to improve management and conservation of water resources, through developing strengths in research, training young scientists, and building a strong outreach education program in aquatic science.
