The Andor Dragonfly 302 Spinning disk confocal is attached to a Nikon Eclipse Ti microscope and has a range of oil immersion objectives and TIRF (Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence) capability. The system is optimized for resolution and has two cameras: Zyla 4.2 Megapixel sCMOS camera and iXon Ultra 888 Ultra EM CCD Camera (1024 x 1024 pixels). It features Andor Micropoint (point scanner) with tunable pulsed N2 laser for organelle ablation and high precision photoactivation.

Zyla PLUS 4.2 Megapixel sCMOS camera; QE 80%.

Mosaic 3

Mosaic 3 random access active illumination device, ~20 mm primary image plane field of illumination, pE-300 white LED illumination unit provides a broad spectrum of
illumination, UV peak at 400nm, covering the excitation bands of common fluorescent stains.

Microscope and Accessories

Nikon Eclipse TI  inverted microscope with motorized x,y,z stage, additional piezo z-stage, joystick and touch panel docking control station. Perfect Focus attachment corrects for focus drifts during overnight time lapse experiments. Stage top incubation chamber with temperature, humidity and CO2 control (Okolab).
