Madeline Preiss

Licensing Intern

As a Licensing Intern at NC State’s Office of Research Commercialization, Madeline works closely with the Licensing Team to promote the commercialization of intellectual property coming out of the University. She is currently studying Business Administration at N.C. State’s Poole College of Management and has a minor in English.

Prior to her internship with the Office of Research Commercialization, Madeline worked as an intern at a Civil Litigation firm in North Raleigh. She plans to pursue her J.D. following graduation and is particularly interested in copyright law. In addition to this, she aspires to publish her own novel someday.

Outside of her internship and academic career, Madeline enjoys fiction writing, riding horses, traveling, and snuggling with her fifteen-year-old rescue dog, Rosie!
