The Project Management team would begin taking shape soon after.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">March-April 2017<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">Requirements gathering team solicits feedback from campus stakeholder groups, including principal investigators, associate deans for research, college research offices and more. <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">May 2017<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">Requests for Proposals (RFP) officially released. The final RFP included more than 200 requirements \u2014 which were developed according to the diverse needs of all stakeholder groups.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">September 2017<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">On-campus vendor demos take place. Of the six vendors that met all of the RFP&#8217;s critical requirements, three were selected as finalists and invited to Raleigh. <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">February 2018<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">InfoEd Global selected as software vendor. InfoEd has been on the leading edge of ERA systems for over 30 years \u2014 since it released SPIN, the world&#8217;s first search engine for finding research funding opportunities.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">April 2019<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">Our ERA system gets its own name \u2014 the Research Enterprise Data (RED) system. RED will eventually consist of six modules and replace the legacy systems PINS and RADAR, as well as NC State&#8217;s homegrown research compliance software.    <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">May 2019<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">RED debuts its first module \u2014 Animal Care and Use (IACUC). Prior to this module&#8217;s implementation, all of the IACUC Office&#8217;s processes were managed through disparate Word documents and email.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">May 2020<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">Conflict of Interest (COI) module launches. The module, which is now known as the Conflict of Interest\/Commitment (COI\/COC) module, houses both the Financial Interest disclosure and External Professional Activity request forms. <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">August 2023<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">Proposal Tracking (PT) and Post Award Management (PAM) modules Go Live. PT\/PAM work in tandem with the Sponsored Research Activity Reporting (SRAR) viewer in place of the legacy system RADAR. <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"ncst-timeline-entry wp-block-ncst-timeline-entry\">\n  <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__container\">\n    <span class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__date\">September 2025<\/span>\n    <div class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__line\"><\/div>\n    <p class=\"ncst-timeline-entry__description\">Phased Rollout of Proposal Development (PD) module begins.
