On-campus vendor demonstrations<\/h2>\n

August 23rd – September 7th<\/h2>\n

Monteith Research Center – Room 136<\/h2>\n

Between August 23 and September 7<\/span><\/span>, three vendors will be coming to campus to demonstrate electronic research administration (eRA) system products. Each two-day, on-campus demonstration will use business cases designed by NC State to show you how our research might flow through these systems. Choosing the right solution is paramount and feedback from Principal Investigators and Administrators is a critical determinant in the process.<\/p>\n

During the past year, the eRA project steering team, along with many participants from NC State\u2019s research community, defined needed system requirements, studied and assessed proposal submissions from vendors and engaged in high-level online demonstrations of software capabilities and qualifications. Many of you provided user perspective and feedback during the requirements gathering phase and we need to engage you again! We invite your direct participation in these demonstrations and hope to encourage as much participation from the campus research community as possible.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Schedule <\/b><\/h3>\n

As the schedule shows, demonstrations are broken into subject-area sessions, allowing participants to choose those relevant to their role. In particular, please note: we’ve scheduled two identical sessions for each vendor, tailored to Principal Investigators as a means of accommodating schedules<\/u>. Plenty of time will be allowed for open Q&A. All sessions will be held on Centennial Campus in the Monteith Research Center<\/span><\/a>, room 136. Plenty of parking is available. In addition, the demonstrations will be streamed live on the eRA website<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Feedback<\/strong><\/h3>\n
To make it easy for you to provide feedback, we\u2019ll electronically survey participants after the demos. You\u2019ll have a week after the end of the last demo to complete this survey – so make sure you also schedule time to provide input. And if you can\u2019t attend in person or join the live stream, each demo will be recorded<\/em> so you can still provide feedback. <\/span><\/div>\n
