RA Training Series: Busy vs. Productive – Maximizing Time Management

September 29, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Register Today!  »

The Office of Research and Innovation is excited to offer a special webinar broadcasted by the Research Education and Training team during Research Week at NC State.

Do you ever find yourself extremely busy all the time, yet at the end of the day you feel that you have been completely unproductive? This session is for you. In this session, we will explore the difference between being busy and being productive. Being busy is frantic while being productive is focused. Being busy is fueled by perfectionism while being productive is fueled by purpose. Being busy is about being good at everything while being productive is about being great at a few important things.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from the following presenters:

  • Anne Albinak, Director of Research Administration Operations at Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering
  • Rashonda Harris, Director of Award Management and Post Award Services, University of Connecticut

While this webinar is available to anyone in the NC State community who would like to attend, the information covered is mostly relevant to Research Administration professionals in our community.

This event will be held virtually via Zoom webinar. Q&A moderated by Research Education and Training team members. You must register to attend. Please contact research-training@ncsu.edu if you have any questions.
