The GES Center is a part of the Chancellor’s Faculty Excellence Cluster Program and is supported by the Provost, Vice Chancellor for Research , College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS), College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) and College of Natural Resources (CNR).   An NSF-IGERT grant in pest management supports the PhD minor program in GES which is also a part of the GES Center as well as a Sloan Foundation grant to do research on  risks and perceptions of synthetic biology.
