Research Forum

Special Keynote Address

We welcomed Dr. Joy Gaston Gayles as our keynote speaker for Research Week at NC State.

This talk challenged the audience to think about what gets in the way of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in research and practice and what we can do if we truly value diversity.

Junior Faculty Forum


During this event participants had the chance to engage with a group of panelists who represented different stages of the faculty tenure career path. Audience members participated in an interactive discussion on the challenges junior faculty face as they continue on in their research career.

Finding Funding and Distilling RFPs


The Proposal Development Unit kicked off their Fall 2021 webinar series by providing resources for faculty to locate funding opportunities and explored helpful tools within platforms such as grants.gov and InfoEd SPIN.
