Citing METRIC

When citing METRIC in presentations, proposals and publications, please use the following language:

This work was performed in part by the Molecular Education, Technology and Research Innovation Center (METRIC) at NC State University, which is supported by the State of North Carolina.

Authorships are recommended when METRIC scientists have made intellectual contributions to the research project including, but not limited to, the following scenarios:

• Design of experimental methods and/or improvement of existing methods that leads to a meaningful scientific result.
• Substantial data acquisition, data analysis, and data interpretation (beyond routine practice).
• A METRIC scientist writes and/or revises the content of the manuscript with intellectual contribution in the result and discussion sections.
