Letter of Collaboration

METRIC provides expert analytical services to North Carolina State University researchers at a cost-effective rate using state-of-the-art instrumentation. As a university core facility, METRIC’s standard services and instrumentation access may be referenced directly in grant applications and do not require a letter of support.

Letters of collaboration (LOC) are available for projects involving substantial intellectual contributions from METRIC personnel. Investigators seeking collaborative support are encouraged to schedule a consultation with METRIC staff scientists well in advance of the grant deadline - ideally during the initial stages of experimental design.

Please submit all letter requests through the Lab Management Portal at least five business days prior to the grant deadline, and notify your collaborating staff scientist directly to ensure timely completion.
