Sirga Advanced Biopharma, SirgaAB, is an early-phase drug discovery company with unique experience, and proprietary technologies and targets. SirgaAB focuses on novel targets of drug -resistant pathogens (bacterial, fungal and viral) and human diseases in developing new medicines for difficult human health problems. Tethis is seeking to transition the technology from laboratory to commercial scale in 2013. The material, Tethex, is a biodegradable foam licensed from NC State that binds with dissolved salts, minerals, and other materials, allowing them to be physically removed from waste water.
