Research areas supported by the MIRA include many basic biomedical research topics including: biophysics, biomathematics, pharmacology, physiology, biotechnology, cellular and developmental biology, and genetics. This workshop introduced researchers to the MIRA mechanism and provided some strategies for approaching different aspects of the MIRA application.
