Dr. Metzler first joined NC State as a clinical veterinarian in the College of Veterinary Medicine; prior to that, she held various roles in the private sector, including four and a half years as the attending veterinarian and veterinary program manager at Atrium Health, in Charlotte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Metzler received her DVM from NC State University in 2012. She also holds a Ph.D. in Integrated Physiology\/Pharmacology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Metzler is an active diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine.<\/p>\n"},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
