Invicta Water Eclipses $1,000,000 in Funding from WIN and Harbright Ventures

For Immediate Release

Raleigh, NC – November 10, 2025 – Invicta Water, Inc. (Invicta) has raised an additional $554K from the Wolfpack Investor Network (WIN) and Harbright Ventures, following its previous round of funding. The new capital, which brings Invicta’s total raised to more than $1M from WIN and Harbright Ventures, will accelerate the company’s efforts to eliminate PFAS (“forever chemicals”) from water systems nationwide.

PFAS, linked to serious health issues, contaminate millions of Americans’ drinking water. With 97% of Americans having PFAS in their blood and 45% of U.S. drinking water systems potentially contaminated, there is an urgent need for scalable, science-driven solutions.

Based in Burlington, North Carolina, Invicta has developed a continuous flow system that removes and destroys PFAS from drinking water, wastewater, and industrial runoff—without generating hazardous byproducts or secondary waste. The technology operates at ambient temperature and pressure, offering a low-cost, scalable alternative to traditional two-step methods that require expensive disposal processes.

The company is relocating to its new HQ in Cary, NC, in early 2026, which increases its square footage from 3K to over 10K.

“WIN and Harbright’s continued support enables us to expand deployments and accelerate access to clean, safe water,” said Steve Wilcenski, Invicta’s CEO and Founder. “Our technology is ready to make a measurable impact in communities affected by PFAS contamination.”

Invicta’s recent pilot projects in Wake County and across the Carolinas achieved near-complete PFAS removal—over 99.9% efficiency—with zero toxic byproducts, including four of the EPA’s top six priority contaminants. The company’s installations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee now process more than 1.5M gallons of water daily.

“Invicta’s technology offers a practical, scalable solution to one of the nation’s most serious environmental challenges,” said John Leachman, Harbright Ventures Founder and Partner, and WIN Venture Partner. “WIN is proud to continue supporting Invicta and its mission to eliminate forever chemicals and revolutionize water purification.”

WIN’s continued investment in Invicta reflects its commitment to supporting NC State–affiliated companies developing sustainable, high-impact solutions to global challenges.
