RALEIGH – Reveal Mobile, a mobile marketing company, has named two new executives. John Haws is replacing Jared Dean as chief technology officer and Jason Crocker has been named vice president of engineering.
Dean, a former SAS executive who joined Reveal Mobile in 2014, left the company to focus on teaching statistics and business analytics at North Carolina State University.
Haws will lead the company’s data science efforts, helping build new applications for location-based analytics. He was previously chief data scientist for Digital Turbine, a mobile ad delivery platform which has offices in Durham.
Crocker was previously vice president of engineering at Kanu and will lead the engineering team’s focus on architectural improvements to the Reveal platform.
Capitol Broadcasting, parent company of WRAL and WRAL TechWire, is an investor in Reveal Mobile.
