Breaking Down Our New Timeline

We now have a new go-live window for our Sponsored Programs modules, as well as the Human Subjects Research module.

We recently revised our implementation timeline.

We now anticipate that our first Sponsored Programs modules will debut in the late fall — replacing the legacy system RADAR. In case you haven’t heard, we’ll be among the very first InfoEd clients to take advantage of its brand-new Post-Award Management (PAM) module. The implementation of the Proposal Development module, which will combine the functionality of PINS and Cayuse Proposals (S2S), is expected to begin shortly after PAM goes live, roughly one year from now, while progress continues toward completion of our financial system — PeopleSoft — integration.

The implementation of the Human Subjects Research (IRB) module is now set to start in late 2023 and run through the end of 2024. The IRB module will be our third and final compliance module.** And if all goes as planned, its launch will mark the end of the implementation phase and completion of the ERA project!

**We no longer have any plans at this time to implement InfoEd’s Environmental Health and Safety module. The software systems that NC State Environmental Health and Safety uses will instead interface with future and current RED modules as needed.**

Those with a keen eye may also notice a few aesthetic changes to our public timeline graphic. We hope you like the new look!
