Dissected ovaries from blowfly show the developing eggs within the ovary. The flies that were dissected constitutively express GFP seen all throughout the eggs. RFP is used as a marker to determine when different promoters are active and in these fly ovaries is only seen in early stages of the developing eggs (LSM 880). Image by Megan Williamson.
