PD Rollout Cycle 1 Launch Date Set
PINS users in the first rollout cycle are scheduled to transition to PD on Nov. 11, 2025.
A launch date has been set for the first rollout cycle of the Proposal Development module. Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 11, PINS users in the following units should use PD for new proposals:
- College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS)
- College of Natural Resources (CNR)
- College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM)
From that point forward, all new proposals should be submitted via PD unless they include a college other than CHASS, CNR or CVM. Proposals that were submitted in PINS prior to Nov. 11 will continue their routing and review process through PINS.
As Cycle 1 of PD rollout comes to a close, Cycle 2 is ramping up. Unit Champions have started training — and RED U registration is open to all users in Cycle 2, which includes the College of Sciences, The Graduate School, and centers and institutes that report to ORI.
