Dr. Jason Richardson is a professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at NEOMED, associate dean for Research in the College of Pharmacy and the founding director of a university-wide research focus area in Neurodegenerative Disease and Aging. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and was recently elected a fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences (ATS). He has received the Outstanding New Environmental Scientist Award from NIEHS and was the inaugural recipient of the Young Investigator Award from the Toxicology Division of ASPET. He received the SOT Achievement Award in 2017 for meritorious research in toxicology. Dr. Richardson has interests in; 1) the development of drugs to mitigate acute neurotoxicant exposures 2) gene environment interactions in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease.
