October 3, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
“The Role of the Survival Motor Neuron Protein (SMN) in Motoneuron Development and Function”
CHHE/Toxicology Seminar
Christine Beattie, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Department of Neuroscience
Ohio State University
The Beattie Lab
The seminar will be on October 3rd, @ 4pm. Toxicology Building Auditorium.
Dr. Beattie received her PhD from Case Western Reserve University and completed postdoctoral training with Dr. Judith Eisen at the University of Oregon. Dr. Beattie is using zebrafish as a vertebrate model system to study the genetic and molecular underpinnings of motoneuron development in the context of motoneuron diseases.
