This session will discuss navigating NIH funding opportunity announcements. Topics covered include: understanding RFAs, PAs, and NOSIs; navigating the NIH Guide and RePORTER; and scanning an announcement for clues if it’s right for you.
NIH Review Process

This session will walk through the NIH Peer Review Process. Topics covered include: incorporating the review criteria into your writing; understanding the dynamics of the peer review meeting; and interpreting a summary statement after the review.
Writing About Human Subjects

This session will break down the new PHS Human Subjects Protections form. Topics covered include: navigating the Clinical Trial checklist; how the Data & Safety Monitoring Plan is different from the Data Management Plan; and tips for ensuring consistency between this section and the rest of your application.
