Tips for Your NIH Data Management & Sharing Plan

In January 2023, NIH implemented its new requirements for a mandatory Data Management & Sharing Plan on research grant proposals. Now that applicants have had three submission cycles to work with the new requirements, the PDU will share what has worked, what resources PIs may find helpful, and what items to keep an eye out for moving forward. NIH Peer Review Criteria

NIH’s system of numerically scoring applications on multiple review criteria can sometimes seem like a black box for those new to the agency. This session will both describe the current system, as well as the proposed efforts by NIH to simplify review criteria moving forward and the possible effects that may have on the NIH peer review system.
