Ginger Burks Draughon
Bio
Dr. Burks Draughon leads the Integrated Support Service Center. They provide streamlined, professional services to faculty and administrators, eliminating costly duplication, creating efficiency and improving timeliness. Their work includes pre- and post-award support for ORI Centers and Institutes and other non-academic research units. They also provide financial and budget administration and strategy for the Office of Research and Innovation.
Dr. Burks Draughon has worked in state government financial and administrative positions for more than 25 years and has been with NC State since 2012. She holds a Ph.D. from the College of Education in educational research and policy analysis, with a focus in higher education. She also holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s in political science and history from UNC-Chapel Hill.
