The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL)

NIIMBL is part of a diverse network of federally sponsored manufacturing innovation institutes, funded through a cooperative agreement with the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the U.S. Department of Commerce. NIIMBL is the latest addition to the nation’s growing Manufacturing USA network of manufacturing institutes.

Mission

The NIIMBL mission is to accelerate biopharmaceutical manufacturing innovation, support the development of standards that enable more efficient and rapid manufacturing capabilities, and educate and train a world-leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing workforce, fundamentally advancing U.S. competitiveness in this industry.

NIIMBL Events

NIIMBL hosts a variety of events and programs, virtual and hybrid, including workshops, member forums, annual meeting, and the NIIMBL eXperience. The NIIMBL eXperience is a multi-week virtual program aimed at college freshman and sophomores.
