Partner Policies and Resources
Policies
NC State ranks in the top five every year for licenses and options executed with industry partners across all US universities without a human medical school. NC State’s industry partners have a shared mission of moving useful technologies into the public sector. As such, the Office of Research Commercialization approaches its partnerships with optimism and mutual respect.
To ensure that each party involved in a licensing partnership meets the mission of their respective organizations, NC State spells out its policies and procedures for inventors and their prospective partners.
