AUTM Highlights Breakthrough Hernia Mesh Technology

A hernia mesh technology developed by NC State professor Jon Rust and former Duke surgeon Howard Levinson has been selected for the AUTM Better World Project, a national initiative that showcases university innovations making a global impact. Now licensed to Deep Blue Medical Advances, the technology led to the T-Line Hernia Mesh—a surgical device designed to improve outcomes and reduce complications in hernia repair.
