The Office of Research and Innovation will be hosting the 3nd annual Research Week beginning October 17th in celebration of research at NC State. Events will be held in a mixed format – some in-person, some virtual/hybrid.

The Office of Research and Innovation is excited to bring you a Lunch & Learn Series event hosted by the Proposal Development Unit (PDU).

The PDU invites the NC State community to a lunchtime webinar series that will provide you with insights and techniques to think strategically about grant writing. The PDU will balance general guidance with specific examples to help faculty navigate differences among major funding agencies (e.g. NSF, NIH, DOD).

Collaborative research projects will often take teams beyond NC State’s walls – including partnerships with other universities, companies, non-profits, government agencies, and international organizations. In this session, we’ll discuss how to spot issues in the application stage and strategies to pave the way for smoother collaborations down the road.
