Research Continuity

Research continuity allows for research to continue after a disruption in services. At NC State, the Office of Research and Innovation has created a template to allow Colleges and individual researchers to think through the steps they may take to protect research data, subjects, equipment, records and critical supplies that may be impacted by a disruption. A disruption in services may include events such as loss of power, inability to communicate and/or no longer being able to access your workplace.

Current Guidelines

All research activities are allowed in research spaces. To mitigate some of the impact on research at NC State, the Office of Research and Innovation asks that Colleges and individual researchers complete a Research Continuity Plan on an annual basis.

Pack Ready Planning

In addition to the research continuity plan, the Office of Research and Innovation asks that units continue to keep their Pack Ready Plans up to date and review their plans on an annual basis.
