Bio

Jillian True is a Licensing Analyst for the NC State Office of Research Commercialization. She helps manage the life sciences technology portfolio. Her primary responsibilities include reviewing invention disclosures, performing prior art searches, developing commercialization strategies, and negotiating license agreements.

Jillian earned a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology from Indiana University and a B.A. in Biology/Chemistry from New College of Florida. Her research background is in plant cell biology.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, playing strategy board games, and traveling.
