Office of Research Commercialization Advisors (ORCA) Network

The Office of Research Commercialization Advisors (ORCA) program is designed to provide a comprehensive way for a broad range of external advisors and expert management to engage with NC State startups and research teams.

ORCA pairs experienced entrepreneurs and industry executives with NC State faculty and entrepreneurs who have launched or are involved in the launch of a startup company for continued coaching and guidance. We encourage our advisors to develop close ties with our inventors, entrepreneurs, and Office of Research Commercialization team in order to help further develop our most interesting technologies, identify potential opportunities that may be appropriate for a startup, and help our existing startup grow and scale.
