New Small Molecule X-ray Instrument in METRIC

A Bruker D8 Venture diffractometer was installed in November 2019. This acquisition was funded by a North Carolina Biotechnology Center Grant awarded to Dr. Roger Sommer and additional support from NC State University and the Department of Chemistry at Duke University. This new technology provides dual wavelength capabilities and facilitates data acquisition with smaller crystals in a fraction of the time.
