Sanger Sequencing and Fragment Genotyping

The GSL operates an Applied Biosystems 3730xl capillary sequencer, with a 36 cm array, for use in both Sanger DNA Sequencing and Fragment Genotyping (e.g., microsatellite) analysis.
For Sanger DNA sequencing, three service options are are available – Platinum, Gold and Bronze. Please visit our Sanger Submission Guidelines page for more information about these services.
For Fragment Genotyping, the GSL offers capillary runs of user prepared genotyping plates on a 5-dye filter set (6-FAM, VIC, NED, PET and LIZ). For more information about this service, please visit our Genotyping Guidelines page.
