Estimated Review Timeframe for Protocols and Amendments
Full committee meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. New protocols should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance to allow pre-review of the submission.
- Full Committee Review Approval (New Category E protocols or amendments): 6-7 weeks
- Designate Member Review Approval (Amendments with significant changes or Category C/D protocols): 3-5 weeks
- Administrative Review (Amendments with minor changes): same day to 1 week
These timeframes are for planning purposes only. Some protocols may be completed sooner or take longer, depending on the details.
